This past weekend I was a speaker and exhibitor at Craig Duswalt’s Rockstar Marketing Bootcamp. I am one of his experts that trains on negotiation in his mastermind.  I may have attended the bootcamp several times, but I managed to learn something new each time.  Here is a recap of what I learned and a new out of the box marketing idea that came as a result:


Change Or Die
Change is difficult and most people do not want to do the work to change.  Craig used the example of a heart patient that is told they must change their habits or die.  Most do not.
This is the same in business.  Basically it was the message Craig gave to me when I was still marketing my Pink Biker Chic Brand.  I was either going to change or my business was going to die.  As a result I started working with him and James Malinchak to create my negotiation platform. The rest is history and history continues to be in the making.
Bring Music Into Your Life
I have been living in chaos in my house since the master bedroom in my condo was flooded on 25 Aug.  Life still continued on but I get my energy from being in my own space having quiet time.  My house being in chaos and me attending a bunch of events added stress to the inability to have peace in my space.  On top of that the man I was dating died a year ago today from a tragic skydiving accident. I basically came home from the Bootcamp and had a meltdown.  However, As soon as I started to play some music, my mood immediately shifted and lightened.  Music will shift your mood.  I’m living proof.  The first song I chose?  Alive by Pearl Jam.
Outside the Box Marketing


Do those out of the box things or come up with those out of the box ideas that make you stand out from everyone else.  I call it standing out from the herd. You have to do that thing that makes you seen above all the rest.  The picture below says “you laugh at me because I’m different, I laugh at you because you’re all the same.”  Stand out from the herd is Rockstar marketing.

As a result, I am doing my own outside the box marketing for my upcoming Think Like A Negotiator Live Training and letting you negotiate your investment to come to the training.  See video for more information:
