NEGOTIATION TIP – “Walk a Mile in My Shoes” – what that means is when you are preparing for a discussion whether its business, personal, family, employment, whatever the case may be, think about it from the other persons perspective and how they might respond or how your position might affect them. For instance if you are dissatisfied with service you have received, think about how your response will affect the other side. Responding in anger may shut the other person down. Responding too nicely might not get the results you want. Consider this in all your negotiations/discussions
