Self Leadership Lesson #1 Turn Negative Self Talk to Powerful Self Talk. (from upcoming Think Like A Leader book)

Hakuna Matata translated means “No Trouble” If you saw the movie The Lion King you most likely remember the song Hakuna Matata from the movie. Here’s the video in case you need a reminder.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbY_aP-alkw

Sounds like a great philosophy right? How many of us really live like that? Looking at all the negativity and hate campaigns online makes it evident that many people don’t live like that, even the ones with the “perfect” social media life that makes it look like everything is rose petals and fairy dust.

Can you really live like that? The answer is yes you can. Even in the midst of struggles and problems. Proverbs 4:23 says “Let God renew your mind because your life is shaped by your thoughts”.

Thoughts are things and with so much information flying at us and past us everyday, we need to focus on positive and uplifting things vs negative and things that tear down. Make it a great Monday.
