TLN Live is ...


Are you ready to get your ASK in gear and become an expert in negotiation?  In just three short days, we'll work with to give you the skills and strategies to make you a better negotiator.  We'll teach you the techniques, you'll use them in hands on exercises and experience negotiation in many different circumstances.  It will be a fun environment where you will learn, grow and master negotiation!   By the end of the event, you'll be more confident in negotiating anything. You will leave with a toolbox of strategies to use in all areas of your life and be effective 


Commitment, motivation and strategy are all factors that affect great leaders.  Leadership demands a unique vision for success and the tools necessary to communicate and implement that vision. The leader must possess a set of clearly-defined convictions and the daring and skill to translate their vision into a reality.  We'll give you the strategies, and experience and you will put them into practice immedietly in the training room and they will carry over into your personal and professional lives. 

Communication & Team Building

Developing professionally requires excellent communication and team building.  Getting your team headed in the same direction, communicating what you need to get done, asking for what you want....all rely on communication.  During TLN Live, you'll learn some key strategies for improving communication and then, let you put them to use through experiencing what you learned. You'll be communicating in all of the exercises, as a leader and as a team member!


Our trainers are dynamic and engaging.  You will experience negotiation and leadership.


This schedule will give you a basic idea of time frame and what you can expect at TLN Live.

    Event registration

    Registration will begin at 8:00am and run until 9.  Come early and network!  It's a great time to get to know other attendees.  Doors will open at 9:00am sharp.  Don't be late!

  • 9:00 - 12:15pm
    Welcome and Basic Negotiation and Leadership Concepts

    We're diving right in! This is where you will recognize that this is different and more engaging than anything you've ever been to.  We will share with you our basic distinctions and concepts for engaged learning.   Once your ground rules are set and you've met the team, you'll start to learn about negotiation and self leadership.

    Networking Lunch

    This is a connection lunch.  We all gather in the training room and break bread together and continue building relationships. Thelimited number of attendees enable us to all connect and get to know each other better. 

  • 1:30 - 5:00pm
    Afternoon Session - Negotiation 101

    The afternoon session is the final content you will learn and need for the rest of the course.  We spend a portion of the training on content with some simulated games and exercises to help enhance the learning.  We'll continue to increase your negotiation and leadership knowledge bank 

  • 5:00 - 6:00pm
    Dinner Break

    You're on your own for dinner.

  • 6:00 - 8:30pm
    Put your Negotiation Skills to the Test

    After a day of learning all about negotiation, you get to participate and use all that training in a simulated game and exercise that mirrors a real life situation.

  • 08:30am - 10:00am
    Basic Content Review and Distinctions

    One on one negotiation...how will you fare against the competition?  We're giving you the opportunity to negotiate a situation directly with another and use those skills you've been hearing about.

  • 10:30am - 1:15pm
    Negotiation Simulations and Exercises

    Negotiation, team work, leadership and communication.  You'll get the chance to use them all in this fun activity.  "Play at 100%" and enjoy the fun. You'll be in competition with others and working to come up with the best concepts while negotiating all aspects of the deal.  It's a blast!

  • 1:15pm - 3:00pm
    Lunch Break

    Share what you're learning with friends.  Network and get to know some new people while you share what you've learned about negotiation.

  • 03:00pm - 07:30pm
    Negotiation Simulations and Exercises

    More negotiations!   Once again, you'll be testing your negotation skills as you work together in teams to improve the situation in "Knipogstan."  Communication is key and negotiations will be critical for your success.

  • 8:30am - 10:00am
    Review and Negotiation Row

    Time to review what we've learned so far and also put your skills to the test.  Here we will give you short scenario to negotiate several times and once it's complete we will completely break down the entire negotiation to reinforce the concepts and strategies to use for success

  • 10:15am - 11:30pm
    Getting Things Done

    There's more to negotiation than meets the eye.  This section will add even more to your negotiations and help you gain a better understanding in some key areas.

  • 11:30am - 1:00pm
    Lunch Break

    Continue to network and meet some great people.

  • 1:00pm - 4:00pm
    Negotiation Simulation and Exercise

    Step back into post World War II for this game that involves negotiating artwork with other teams and with a foreign Government.  This is fun and challenging pulling all you've learned together.  Music from the 1940's will be playing in the background as you work to negotiate your best deal yet!

  • 4:15pm - 5:30pm
    Wrap up/Final Content

    A final wrap up of the course and a quick review will leave you ready to take your negotiation skills to the streets and be a Master Negotiator.
